To walk among the wild things, to take time to really see and not just look, and to create pieces that celebrate raw beauty are part of who I am. Imagination, curiosity, migrations, physical and mental challenge, wild places, trails, and the interconnectedness of this world inspire me to dream big. There are adventures everywhere to inspire one to live their dreams and become a little bit more wild and free and untamed.

Wild Watercolor Hike

Hosted by the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies
When: July 13, 2025 from 8am–2pm.
Description: Come explore the landscape around Toklat and the upper Castle Creek Valley with me through watercolors, drawing, and hiking. Watercolor is a wild medium often taught as a slow process, but it doesn’t need to be! Sometimes it is hard to choose between sitting still and painting and taking the time to move your body! Both are wonderful ways to connect with a landscape and feel present. We will explore what it means to not just look but really see, develop plein air painting techniques, find unique ways of expression, and share in the magic that the landscape has to offer.

FKT of the year #1

It is an honor to be given this title for my hike on the Colorado Trail this past summer. There are so many amazing people who set FKTs last year and I am floored to be recognized among them.

Feel free to listen to John Kelly (FKT of the year male) and myself share a little from our experiences on the Fastest Known Time Podcast.

Thank you for your support!
