“Star Trails” is created from a memory during my Fastest Known Time hike on the Colorado Trail in 2021. I had less than 200 miles to go and was thinking about how slow but how fast I was traveling though space in relation to light speed. The ground was glittering with details and the stillness of the night made my footsteps so loud. I love getting to re-experience moments like these through painting.
