“Wet Burn Study” was inspired by the burn zone along the Pacific Crest Trail north of Santiam Pass in OR. I had to miss 50 miles of trail during my 2014 thru- hike due to fire and before I got my Triple Crown Award I hiked this section in October 2018 in pouring freezing rain. It was beautiful and full of contrast and memories.
